The company also provides industrial equipment and energy-saving products, such as power receiving and transforming system, pneumatic system, social infrastructure system, special air conditioning equipment, and machine tools and related construction and maintenance services; air-conditioning systems, chiller units, and refrigerator equipment; LED lighting equipment and office furniture; and ICT solutions comprising production management, security, surveillance/video, digital signage, VR/AR, and AI systems, as well as develops and sells various software. In addition, it offers social/public systems, including aviation-related, water and sewage, monitoring and control, power, and solar power systems, as well as water treatment purification equipment and industrial instruments; and transportation systems consisting of vehicles and vehicle electrical equipment, vehicle modifications, power receiving and transforming systems, signal systems, station equipment, depot equipment, information systems, and maintenance services. The company was formerly known as Yashima Denki Shokai Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Yashima Denki Co., Ltd. in February 1960. Yashima Denki Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1946 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
