The company was formerly known as Mahindra CIE Automotive Limited and changed its name to CIE Automotive India Limited in June 2023. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is based in Mumbai, India. CIE Automotive India Limited is a subsidiary of Participaciones Internacionales Autometal, Dos S.L.
