In addition, it engages in designing, equipment supply, construction, and operation of cement plants, power plants, iron works, and chemical plants. The company was formerly known as Tongyang Major Corporation and changed its name to Tongyang Inc. in March 2011. Tongyang Inc. was founded in 1955 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
