The company was formerly known as Van Shung Chong Holdings Limited and changed its name to Hong Kong Shanghai Alliance Holdings Limited in December 2015. Hong Kong Shanghai Alliance Holdings Limited was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
