The Cargo Handling and Warehousing segment offers ship berthing, loading and discharging, and container storage services to ship companies and cargo owners; and overhead box services to tractor companies. This segment is also involved in the division or merger of cargoes in containers, and container leasing and maintenance businesses; bulk cargo handling and warehousing services; bulk cargo handling and transportation in port zones; and storage services. The Ancillary Port-Related Services segment provides tugboat berthing assistance and barge services at the arrival of ships to the ports, and tallying in the course of cargo handling; and supplies shore power and freshwater for vessels. The Bonded Logistics Operations offers leasing, loading, and unloading services in warehouses/yards, and customs clearance and division or merger of cargoes at terminals; and documentation services for tractors arriving or leaving the bonded logistics parks. It also engages in the property development and investment activities. The company was formerly known as Shenzhen Chiwan Wharf Holdings Limited and changed its name to China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. in December 2018.
