The company was formerly known as Shandong Luyang Share Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Luyang Energy-Saving Materials Co., Ltd. in September 2015. Luyang Energy-Saving Materials Co., Ltd. was founded in 1984 and is based in Zibo, China. As of June 28, 2022, Luyang Energy-Saving Materials Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of  Unifrax Asia-Pacific Holding Limited.
